Ally Marcano
Ally graduated from Middletown High School from Middletown, NY. 1st-team all-state honors in Class AA. She finished with a 1.01 ERA with 401 strikeouts in 235 innings pitched. Struck out a Section 9 record 24 batters in an 11-inning game. The 24 K's in a game was the 4th-most ever recorded in NY state history. 10 no-hitters and Ally helped lead the school to a Section 9 championship title.
Ally then went on to play in the Little League World Series representing New York and the North East. In 41 innings the ERA was 2.3 with 82 strikeouts and came in 4th place overall. The only pitcher in Little League World Series to throw a no hitter against Europe-Africa with 17 strikeouts.
Ally also played for Puerto Rico National Team for WBSC World Series. She had 2.5 ERA with 26 innings pitched and 23 strikeouts. Ally was the only pitcher to have a shutout game against China 6-0 and brought back a Bronze World Series medal.
Ally’s first 2 years of college started at D2 Flagler College. She earned consensus all-region honors and was 1st-team all-conference pick. Posted a 33-17 record with 2 saves and a 2.5 ERA. 340 innings pitched with 318 strikeouts. Ally broke the school's single-season record for innings pitched, wins and complete games. Was the PBC Freshman of the week five times, the PBC Pitcher of the Week two times, and Louisville Slugger D2 National Pitcher of the Week. PBC Presidential Honor Roll Bronze Scholar
Ally’s last two years of college was at D1 Coastal Carolina. Ally’s junior year she had an injury so she had limited playing time, and in her senior year she pitched 25 innings and had 32 strikeouts before the season was cut short due to covid.
Ally has been giving pitching lessons and still plays in Puerto Rico to this day! Ally received her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art & Graphic Design in 2020. Ally is currently employed as the head Graphic Designer for the Buffalo Bisons!
