Ella just finished up her freshman year at the University of Hartford where she is studying exercise science and playing softball. In 2025, Zobel made 18 starts in her 31 appearances slashing .246/.393/.333 (AVG/SLG/OBP), to go along with one homer, 13 RBI, six doubles, three stolen bases, and coming across to score 10 runs. In the circle Ella made 22 appearances and four starts throwing 55 innings. She would finish with a 4.07 ERA with 54 strikeouts, one save, and an opposing batting average of .316.

Ella attended Clarence High School, where she played on the varsity team since the end of her freshman year, and was a two-year team captain. She pitched, hit and played first base.

Ella played travel softball for the Tennessee Fury organization. She has played in tournaments across the country facing the top players in the nation.

Ella started giving pitching lessons this summer and really enjoys working with young athletes. As a student of Mike Muhleisen for the past five years. Ella can teach the internal rotation style of pitching as well as how to throw different spins such as drop ball, change up, and rise ball. Ella looks forward to working with pitchers in all stages of development.
