ERIN NUWER
Erin just finished up her freshman year at the University of Tennessee where she finished up with a 2.32 ERA with 57.1 innings of work. Erin appeared in 18 games with 11 starts, going 6-4 with four complete games, four shutouts and notching 65 strikeouts. She made her postseason debut at the Women's College World Series, throwing two scoreless innings with two strikeouts and earning a win over Florida (5/30). Erin struck out a career-high 12 batters to lead the No. 7 Lady Vols to a 4-0 victory over Western Carolina (4/1). She tossed a shutout, six innings against Indiana State (3/1) in the Tennessee Invitational, striking out seven, allowing three hits, and walking only one batter.
Erin attended high school at Nardin Academy as a junior. Erin had been on the varsity team since her freshman year, where she pitches, hits, and plays the field.
Erin currently coaches an infield group ages 10-14, and has coached for a year and a half. She loves working with young athletes.
