Maddie played in 118 games at the University of Missouri in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) over her last two seasons (2023-24), after beginning her career at the University of South Carolina, where she started 82 games over two seasons (2021-22). As a senior at Mizzou in 2024, she started 66 games at second base, recording a .281 batting average with 50 hits and 31 runs scored, and was named to the 2024 SEC All-Tournament Team after leading the Tigers to the tournament final. Following the 2024 campaign, she was named to the SEC Community Service Team and the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Squad. She was named to the SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll as a sophomore, junior, and senior. 
 
A Port Washington, NY native, she earned 2019 Nassau County Player-of-the-Year honors at Paul D. Schreiber High School. A two-time all-state selection, she never hit below .549, including a .638 mark in 2018. On the travel circuit, she was ranked 27th in the Class of 2020 by Extra Innings, which also honored her as a two-time All-America selection. In 2019, she played for the Team USA 17U squad at the Pan American Games. Maddie also excelled in the classroom, where she was a four-time NYS Scholar-Athlete inducted into the National Honor Society, and a member of the English Honors Society and Foreign Language Honors Society. 
 
After she spent one season as an intern in 2025, the NFL’s Buffalo Bills promoted her to a full-time position.
