max giordano

Max attended Lancaster High School and was a 5 year varsity starter who hit over .400 for his career while totaling more than 100 hits, 20+ doubles, and double-digit home runs. Max earned multiple All-League and All WNY Honors over his career In his senior season, he batted above .450. He was awarded team captain, first team all WNY & first team all state honors. Max was also a 3x sectional champion during his time at Lancaster.

Max continued his baseball career at Division I, Niagara University where his record-setting 2023 graduate season, he hit .374, ranking top three in the MAAC, while launching 16 home runs — setting the program’s single-season home run record. He added 54 RBIs (third most in a single season in school history), 51 runs scored, a .481 on-base percentage, .741 slugging percentage, and a 1.222 OPS. He also recorded 21 multi-hit games, 15 multi-RBI games.Earning First Team All-MAAC and First Team ABCA/Rawlings All-Region.

Over the course of his career at Niagara, Giordano totaled 27 home runs (second all-time in program history), 127 RBIs (top five all-time), and 672 at-bats (second all-time), along with nearly 150 career hits.

Following graduation, he continued his playing career professionally in the MLB Draft League with the Trenton Thunder before transitioning into coaching.

Joining William & Mary in 2024, Giordano has worked primarily with hitters. Helping guide the program’s offense from last in conference batting average to first in the league and top 10 nationally.

Max has been giving lessons to a large amount of higher level softball hitters in the area for the last 6 months, and is excited to continue on with 21 Outs.
