Sam grew up playing travel ball for the Diamond Girls organization from 2008-2013. Her team won multiple championships at the local and national level.

Sam is a graduate of Williamsville East High School (2013). She was the starting pitcher on the Varsity Softball team for four years, and was a First Team All-Western New York selection and ECIC Pitcher of the Year as a senior in 2013. She helped lead the flames to their first regional win in 2011.

Sam went on to pitch at Division 2, Edinboro University in Edinboro, PA.

Sam has been coaching for 8 years in the WNY area. She has coached Avalanche softball from 2016-2018. She was also an assistant coach at Williamsville East High School for 5 years where she helped coach the team to a 27-0 season, and a New York State Championship in 2019. While Sam was at East, the team won 5 straight years of sectional titles. Sam is currently an assistant coach at Williamsville North High School.

After giving pitching lessons for the past 8 years to over 50 + girls in the WNY area, Sam has decided to open up 21 Outs Softball Training to help grow the sport in the Buffalo area!

Sam completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts in May of 2017 and was a scholar athlete. She is currently employed as a senior graphic designer at ADPRO Sports in Amherst, NY, where she has worked for the last 6 years.
