Sara Colombo Ark

Sara brings a wealth of experience and passion to the softball community. A 2000 graduate of Williamsville North, she went on to have a standout collegiate career at SUNY Cortland, where she was an All-Region Second Baseman (2004) and an Academic All-American Infielder (2004). She also competed for multiple years on the Western New York Empire State team, showcasing her skills at a high level.

Sara's coaching journey began as an assistant coach at Canisius College Softball (2005) before leading the Kenmore East Varsity Softball team. She has dedicated countless hours to growing the game, running numerous youth softball programs in the area and helping young athletes build confidence, skill, and a love for the sport.

Beyond softball, Sara has been an elementary and adapted Physical Education teacher for over 20 years in the Kenton School District. She has also spent the last decade coaching a variety of youth sports (ages 3-10), bringing her expertise and enthusiasm to the youngest generation of athletes. As a certified CrossFit Kids Strength & Conditioning Coach, she emphasizes strength, movement, and overall athletic development.

Off the field, Sara enjoys an active lifestyle with her husband and their three little boys, passing on her love for sports and fitness to her family. Her dedication to coaching and education continues to inspire young athletes both on and off the field.
